Grindley was established in the 1880s in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, a region famed for its pottery industry. The company was founded by William Harry Grindley and produced earthenware and ironstone china at the Newfield Pottery in Tunstall. Grindley’s products were exported around the world, with a significant market in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
